What to Expect
I’m an experienced therapist who works with adults navigating a wide range of life challenges, and I’m here to support you on your journey..
I believe that counselling is a collaborative process, with its foundation set in the client and therapist having a strong therapeutic relationship, with the client’s wellbeing at the heart. Everyone deserves the chance to tell their story and be heard.
Together, we may explore your personal history to better understand the values, beliefs, and patterns shaping your present. We may unpack current life stressors, or reflect on relationship dynamics. Therapy might offer space to process grief and loss, give voice to your concerns and hopes, or simply provide a safe place to be heard and held.
Our work will include identifying strategies to help you navigate life’s challenges, create meaningful change, and reconnect with your authentic self.
Most importantly, this is a space where all emotions are welcome – including the difficult or uncomfortable ones. Allowing space for these feelings is an essential part of the healing process.
I will walk alongside you as you explore, feel, and make sense of your emotions, offering a safe and supportive space where you feel able to share your personal experiences.
If you are struggling with feelings of anxiety, worry, stress or burnt-out we will explore the root causes. I will support you to gently build strategies that help you feel more grounded and at ease. The goal is not just to manage, but to create lasting tools that enable you to feel more balanced and confident.
When helpful, we can integrate a mind–body approach into our sessions. This may include mindfulness, grounding techniques, somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation. These practices can support emotional processing, helping difficult feelings rise, move through, and eventually settle, often in transformative ways.

There’s space here for truth, transformation and even laughter.
